So I just had to buy a .co domain, bjh.co. I need another domain like a hole in the head, but I was able to get a conveted three-letter domain (bjh, my initials). I used to have bjh.ca but somehow it got hijacked, just shows how bad the scalpers want the 3 letter domains. So you should go to www.bjh.co because it’s amazing.

Actually, my prediction is that most of the world is unaware of the .co tld, and when they encounter one they will assume it’s a typo, and add an ‘m’ at the end.

Talking to my computer

So here I am talking to my computer I’m using Dragon speaking naturally and it’s pretty cool.
All I have to do is talk. Voice recognition is very cool you should try. I’ll never have to touch my keyboard again.
Let’s see what else I can do with this: go to fridge get beer get beer that doesn’t seem to work. It’s just as well since I don’t drink beer anyways and there is no beer in the fridge. I wonder if it will answer the front door? Answer door

Basement Frogs

These are the frogs that lived in my basement for a couple of years. They’re really good as pets, although you don’t see them much. They feed themselves, on bugs I guess. They pretty much mind their own business. You should get one.

If you design for print, you should download it, and even better, read it. Avoid the common pitfalls of preparing files for offset print, and, avoid having prepress people (like me) say rude things about behind your back while we fix your crap.

So this has been kinda fun. A mac, a website, WordPress, and too much time on my hands got me playing with video blogging. You should try it. First thing you do is go out and buy a MacBook Pro, the most amazing and cool computer currently on the planet. They’re free at Best Buy. Well, sort of…get a Best Buy credit card, then you have 3 months before you have to pay anything. So it’s sort of free, at least for those of us who can’t think 3 months ahead. Then go get a domain name and a webhosting account, I’d recommend 1and1.com, tell them I sent you.

Install WordPress, then install the embed flv 1.2 from http://www.channel-ai.com

Then launch iMovie and play around. This is what you will get….
